Not wanting to spend too much money this year, we kept things simple and didn't do the fancy dinner. After being cooped up in our houses the last few days due to the second snow storm of Snowpocalypse 2014, we decided to have a night of fun and just be kids again. Elaina and I (and our other halves) went on a play date to Dave & Busters. Only after we stopped to eat hamburgers and hotdogs at Snoopy's, of course.
(The absolute BEST hamburgers and hotdogs anywhere!)
I am pretty sure these guys have those huge smiles because we saved them huge bucks!
Boys will be boys. The first game that had to be played was a shoot 'em up game. Which they did do amazing on. Must have been from all those hours of playing COD.
Trying to decide what to spend our winnings on. Needless to say, we did not go home with either of these fine spectacles. :)
Such a fun night spent with wonderful friends.
These videos are of the game "Speed of Light." Elaina and I played it first and scored 581 out of 999. Not to be out done, the guys had to get in on the action. They were pretty hilarious. Even with Phil's ninja speed and Jacob's cat like reflexes, sadly they only scored 282. We couldn't just leave it at 581, we were determined to do better. Of course we had to try again. The last score was 847.
We're positive we will get the 999 next time!
Hope everyone had as much fun on Valentine's Day as we did!
