I am never _______ enough!

Do you guys ever feel this way?? I know I do all the time!

I am never organized enough.
I am never healthy enough.
I am never brave enough.
I am never creative enough.
I am never Godly enough.

These are just a few of the 100s of thoughts that go through my head every day.

This line comes from a sermon series I’ve been listening to.  Earlier this week, Nancy Ray (go check out her blog!!) posted a book on Instagram titled “Crash the Chatterbox.”  Some of the comments mentioned a sermon on the same concept as the book.  I googled it and found out about Elevation church based out of North Carolina.  The pastor, Steven Furtick, is the author of the book.  I won’t go into too much detail about it (because you should listen to the sermons too), but his message is that we need to stop the chatter that goes on inside our own minds.  Since God created us, we ARE enough to do whatever he has planned for us.

My favorite line from sermon 2 in the series was:
When you doubt the product, it insults the manufacturer.

Don’t doubt yourself and insult God.  Know that he has created you to be enough. I need to start telling myself this every day.

Below is a link to the church website and a video of the first sermon.  I highly recommend this series and will be adding the book to my reading list.
